Sweet treat for a few crowns.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Slice the rolls and do not moisten them with half the milk
2. Stack them in layers in a greased baking dish and intersperse with layers of peeled sliced apples
3. Sprinkle the apples with sugar, cinnamon and lemon zest, lay the rolls and stack the second layer, top with the rolls, spread them and pour the remaining milk over them (you can also sprinkle the apples with nuts and raisins)

Recommendation:
Use sour apples, sweet apples are hard to melt. You can add an egg to the milk for the topping.
Note:
You can also grate the apples on a vegetable grater.
