Záhorácký závitek II.

Plates of pork leg rubbed with garlic, covered with English bacon and sauerkraut, twisted into the shape of rolls, fried, then smothered, finally baked in the oven until tender.

Ingredients:

4 pcs pork leg slices 100 g of English bacon or sausage 100 g of bacon 30 g of sauerkraut garlic onions grease water pepper

Procedure:

1. Slices of ham, rub with grated garlic, lay slices of English bacon or sausage, add sauerkraut, roll into a roll, fasten with toothpicks
2. In a roasting tin, fry the chopped onion in the lard along with the chopped bacon
3. Add the rolls and fry them on all sides, then pour a little water, cover the tin and simmer for 45 minutes until the meat is tender
4. Uncover the tin and finish baking in the oven to give the rolls a crust
5.

Recommendation:

Serve with potato dumplings.
