Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar until foamy.Add the soft butter,stir,add the plain flour with baking powder and finally add 3 tablespoons of milk.Make a dough.Divide the dough into three parts .Roll out two parts to the size of the tin and put the third part in the freezer for a while.

Place one rolled part of the dough on a greased baking sheet and spread with jam.Add the second part of the dough and layer the nut filling.

Make the filling by beating the egg whites with sugar until foamy, then add the ground walnuts.

Grate the third part of the batter on the surface of the cake with a coarse grater.Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 25 – 30 minutes.
