Recipe from the recipe book of our grandmothers and great-grandmothers. Vošouch is a folk name for potato pancakes from Pilsen. In South Bohemia, potato pancakes prepared in this way are called Cmunda, in Podkrkonoší, for example, Sejkory.
Ingredients:

Procedure:
Soak the mushrooms in water for an hour beforehand.
Peel the potatoes, finely grate them, boil them with boiling milk.
Squeeze out the water from the mushrooms, chop them into smaller pieces, saute them in butter until soft, add salt and pepper, and let them cool.
Stir the cooled mushrooms into the potatoes, add the eggs, crushed garlic, marjoram, pepper, salt, mix, thicken the dough with flour if necessary.
Scoop the dough, which should be thinner, with a spoon and spread it on a pan with melted lard, fry on both sides until golden.
Recommendation:
Serve warm with sauerkraut. Mushrooms can be omitted, some families put them in, others don’t. Potato pancakes can also be supplemented with bacon cubes, sausages…
