Vegan meatballs and vegan hamburgers, 10 tasty recipes for everyone
Just four months ago, on May 28, on the occasion of Hamburger Day, the Interprofessional Beef and Veal Association, PROVACUNO, celebrated it by presenting a campaign to find a name for hamburgers without meat, because a hamburger, to be called that, must be a disc of seasoned minced meat or, failing that, a lady born in Hamburg. During the campaign, new names could be proposed and, at the end of the campaign, the most repeated name, verduguesa, was chosen.
So far the thing had stayed there, but this week the issue is back in the news because a political party has called for the creation of a law that prohibits calling vegan preparations of recipes that are traditionally meat with the same name that receive the latter, this would force to have to find new names for things like vegan meatballs, vegan burgers or vegan sausages.
Vegan and vegetarian meatball recipes
While we agree on what to call them, let’s go over a few very easy-to-make recipes, for which no lab ingredients are needed and where, really, the name is the least of it.
Tofu and oatmeal dumplings

.For me the worst thing about a strictly vegan burger is that it cannot have cheese, because commercial vegan cheeses, some of which I have tried, seem to me to be too artificial products. Gluten-free vegan burgers
