Unleavened bread dumplings cooked in water

Simpler version of homemade bread dumplings prepared without yeast. They are nicely fluffy thanks to baking powder, cooked in water.

Ingredients:

300 g of coarse flour 2 dcl 1 pk day old bun 1 pk egg 1/2 bag of baking powder 1/2 tsp salt water to cook dumplings

Procedure:

  • Dump the flour into a bowl, add salt and baking powder
  • .Mix the milk with the egg, add it to the flour and make a not too thick dough, to which add the sliced bun
  • Roll out two doughnuts, then boil them in salted water for about 25 minutes.
  • Recommendation:

I make these dumplings more or less by eye, each flour sucks differently, but I probably don’t need to tell you that… the roll can be more, it can be lightly fried in butter or cut the day before and left to dry.
