We’ve been making this recipe for Tuna Vegetable Pasta Gratin for years, it’s been perfected over time and has been tested on many kids over the years!
Yes, tuna pasta is perfect and kids love it. And this recipe never fails, it’s easy to make and is relatively quick. We make the sauce while the pasta is cooking, then it’s just a toss to make. Add a little topping and pop it in the oven. Job done!
Ingredients for 4 parts: – 7 SP / part –
1 can of tuna au naturel 400 g peeled and crushed tomatoes 220 g raw pasta 2 cloves of garlic 2 teaspoons olive oil 60 g grated low-fat Gruyere Salt and pepper.
Preparation of the tuna and vegetable pasta gratin:
According to the directions on the package cook the pasta in boiling salted water, then drain it.
Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and then fry the chopped garlic, then add the tomatoes, then add salt and pepper, add a little water and cook for 10 minutes.
Put the pasta in a gratin dish then crumble the tuna on top, then cover everything with the tomato sauce.
Sprinkle with grated Gruyere cheese then put the tuna and vegetable pasta gratin to cook in the oven for 15 to 20 minutes at 180°.
Serve your gratin piping hot with a refreshing lemonade and some seasonal fruit for a complete meal.
