Traditional honey slices from grandma

ingredients

500 g plain flour 4 tbsp honey 6 dkg cold butter 15 dkg powdered sugar 2 pcs egg 1/2 tsp baking soda 2 packets Golden cob 40 g Dr.Oetker 1/2 litre milk 20 dkg granulated sugar 1 pk fresh butter (fat) jam or jam to spread chocolate icing to decorate

My favourite childhood recipe that my grandmother used to make for Christmas ♥️

Cesto: Knead the dough with your hands and divide into 4 equal parts. Carefully roll out a thin rectangular dough (be careful because the dough is too soft and breaks). Try to make sure that each slice is approximately the same size. On the back of the baking sheet, bake the dough slices one at a time at 180 degrees (it only needs a few minutes because it will be a thin dough).

Cook the golden classic and stir in the butter when cool. Only the golden cob needs to be stirred occasionally as it cools so that lumps don’t form.

We combine the fillings between slices as we like. I topped with cooking chocolate + butter.
