Tortilla Snails

Vegan variant of a snack or snack with beer or wine. These are tortillas smeared with chickpea spread, garnished with Vegetable Recipes and pan-fried tempeh, tightly rolled, cut into individual snails.

Ingredients:

6 pcs tortillas 100 g of smoked tempeh, thinly sliced 1 pc sliced cucumber 1 pc sliced carrots favorite leafy greens For the spread: 1 cup cooked chickpeas 1/2 cup vegetable mayonnaise 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast 1 tablespoon mustard 1 teaspoon black volcanic salt 1 piece spring onion finely chopped pepper salt

Procedure:

  • First, prepare the spread. Mash the chickpeas with a fork and mix with the onion, mayonnaise, mustard, deli yeast and black salt. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Fry the slices of smoked tempeh in a pan with a little oil.
  • Spread the spread on the tortillas, place the sliced cucumber, carrots, leafy greens and smoked tempeh.
  • Tortillas roll tightly and cut into snails.
