Tiramisu z mascarpone II.

Dessert made of cream cheese, round biscuits, egg yolks and other ingredients.

Ingredients:

300 g of high quality mascarpone 100 g of round pastry sponge cake 100 g sugar 500 ml strong coffee 2 tablespoons cocoa powder 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur 2 tablespoons granulated sugar 4 egg yolks

Procedure:

1. Dissolve the caster sugar in the hot coffee and let it cool, then add the coffee liqueur
2. Place half of the sponge cakes in a round cake tin and let them thoroughly soak up the coffee and liqueur
3. Whisk the egg yolks with the sugar in a water bath until the cream is a light whitish colour, let cool, add the mascarpone and mix well
4. Spread half of the cream over the biscuits in the cake tin, cover with the rest of the biscuits, drizzle with the remaining coffee and liqueur and pour over the remaining cream
5. Put the tiramisu in the fridge to set, sprinkle with cocoa powder and cut into portions before serving.

Recommendation:

It is better to leave the tiramisu to set in the fridge overnight.
