The delicious Italian pasta salad

Here’s how to make this delicious Italian-style pasta salad, a hearty, comforting and chilled dish that’s easy to make, and most importantly, scrumptious!

This salad is perfect to take on picnics, a quick recipe that can be made ahead of time and kept in the fridge until ready to serve.

ingredients:

100 g wholemeal pasta preferably 120 g slices of ham A few olives 120 g creamy yogurt A dozen cherry tomatoes 1 handful of spinach shoots or a few lettuce leaves 1 tablespoon of lemon juice a few sprigs of dill a few sprigs of fresh chives 1 tablespoon of olive oil Salt and pepper

Preparation:

Cook the pasta al dente in boiling salted water, then drain, and quickly run under cold water and set aside.

Continue to prepare this Italian-style pasta salad, and pit the olives, then cut them with the tomatoes in half.

Mix the yogurt with the lemon juice, olive oil, and chopped herbs, then salt and pepper to taste.

Season the pasta with this mixture, then add the shrimp, cherry tomatoes, olives, ham slices and spinach shoots. Gently toss everything together.

Finally, serve this Italian-style pasta salad, or chill it until ready to serve.
