Fantastic pastry that tastes always, not only for breakfast Very easy and fast you can prepare it at home using this recipe. It tastes really great on its own, but it’s also wonderful spread with butter, jam or honey Just a glass of tea, milk or hot cocoa or milky coffee to taste!
1.
In one bowl, first mix flour, sugar and salt with a spoon. Add the butter, yoghurt, egg yolks and the yeast swollen in 3 litres of milk. Work in the remaining approx. 2,5dl of milk as you go along. You should get a semi-soft soft dough that separates from the bowl. Knead the dough a little and knead it briefly into a loaf. Leave to rise for 1h.
2.
Turn the risen dough out onto a floured board, make a cylinder and cut it into equal pieces. Knead each piece into a loaf again. Sprinkle with a minimum of flour. Immediately place the rolls on a baking sheet with the paper further apart. Cover lightly with a thin tea towel and let rise for 15 minutes.
3.
When the loaves have risen, brush them with egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Finally, use scissors to cut 1-2 times into each loaf and place the baking tray in the oven, which you have pre-heated to 180°C for about 20 minutes. You need to keep track of this.
4.
Bread is also delicious just on its own with cocoa and milk, but spread with butter and honey or jam it’s simply amazing Have a good taste!!!
