Stupid

Mrs. Marus recipe for cheap yeast dumplings with jam.

Ingredients:

500 g smooth flour 50 g butter (Hera etc.) 50 g of semolina sugar 1 pk bag of dried yeast 3 tbsp oil pinch of salt lukewarm water

Procedure:

1. Sieve the flour into a bowl add the sugar, salt, yeast and stir dry, then add the oil, fat and water 2. Mix initially with a rolling pin then by hand (it is easier to work through) until the dough is smooth and bubbles form
3. Cover with a towel and put in a warm place to rise for about an hour
4. Dip a spoon in flour and cut out small loaves of dough, round them, make a hole in the middle and put the pudding, then close tightly, put on a rolling pin and leave to rise for about 10 minutes
5. Boil in water for about 5 minutes on each side, being careful not to overcook them, they would not lose anything in taste but they would lose in appearance.

Recommendation:

Serve drizzled with melted butter and sprinkled with dry-cooked breadcrumbs and caster sugar. Can also be made with grated cottage cheese or poppy seeds. Put the breadcrumbs in a pan and roast, stirring thoroughly to prevent the breadcrumbs from burning, you can make a larger quantity and then put it in a screw-top jar and store it in the fridge for the next time. This breadcrumbs can also be used on salty, cooked cauliflower, broccoli or Brussels sprouts.

Note:

You can probably make it with milk and put 2 eggs instead of oil, but it is not so cheap anymore.
