Stuffed mushroom recipe

Ingredients:
1 pound (about 16) large mushrooms
4 tablespoons butter
4 tablespoons finely chopped onion
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup milk
1/2 cup dry bread crumbs
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
2. Remove the stems from the mushrooms and chop finely. Set the mushroom caps aside.
3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, stirring occasionally.
4. Add the flour, salt, and pepper, and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
5. Add the milk and continue cooking until the sauce thickens and boils.
6. In a medium bowl, mix together the bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and parsley flakes.
7. Spoon the sauce into the mushroom caps and then top with the bread crumb mixture.
