Strawberry Ale marinade for chicken recipe
Last Updated on
Now that summer is in full swing, grilling season is in full effect! And what goes better with grilled chicken than a cold, refreshing beer? We’ve put together the perfect recipe for your next cookout – Strawberry Ale Marinade for Chicken!
This sweet and savory marinade is perfect for chicken, but can also be used on pork, seafood, or veggies. Simply combine all of the ingredients in a ziplock bag or container, add your chicken, and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (longer is better!).
The key ingredient in this recipe is, of course, the strawberry ale. We recommend using a local craft beer for best results. The strawberries add a lovely sweetness to the dish, while the ale helps to tenderize the meat. You can find strawberry ale at most liquor stores, or even some grocery stores.
Here’s the full recipe:
Ingredients:
1 bottle of strawberry ale
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a ziplock bag or container.
Add chicken and let marinate for at least 30 minutes (longer is better).
Grill chicken over medium-high heat until cooked through.
Serve with your favorite summer sides.
