Steamed Dumpling

Steam-cooked dumplings made from semi-coarse or coarse flour, milk, yeast, sugar and salt.

Ingredients:

500 g of semi-coarse or coarse flour 300 ml of milk or water 1 tsp sugar 1 tsp salt 1/2 pcs of yeast cubes

Procedure:

  • Add the crumbled yeast stirred into the lukewarm milk along with the sugar and salt to the flour, make a dough and let it rise in a warm place.
  • Divide the dough into 2 to 4 parts, shape them into rolls and let them rise for a while.
  • Cook the dumplings in steam for about 20 minutes.

    The dumplings prepared in this way can also be cooked in slightly salted water, cook for about 16 minutes.
