this vegetable salad is delicious not only on its own but also as a side dish with grilled meat… and if you are afraid to use mayonnaise in the summer, just skip it and use only yogurt or sour cream 1. soak the raisins in water, we prefer to use more acidic apples 2. roast the sunflower kernels in a dry frying pan, disassemble the stalks of celery, wash and chop them… add the chopped apple and coarsely grated carrot in the ratio of about 3 parts celery, 3 parts apple and 1 part carrot… add soaked and rinsed raisins, roasted seeds, salt and ground black pepper 3. stir, add yogurt and mayonnaise in a ratio of 2:1… Stir, cover and refrigerate… each such salad leaves a lot of water, so to avoid standing in water you need to use thick yoghurt 4. garnish with parsley, serve just like that or with a good homemade baguette and it is absolutely amazing as a side dish with roasted or grilled meat…
