Sambal is an amazing sort of salad that goes incredibly well with this meat… try it 🙂 I got the recipe from Apetit magazine and it is very good 🙂
1. Mash the onion, garlic and ginger finely. 2. Fry all the spices in oil for a minute. 3. Then add the onion mixture, 4. the chili, 5. the broth, 6. then the tomato puree 7. and finally the crushed madle. Mix well. 8. Finally, add the chopped meat and mix. Simmer covered for 10 minutes (until the meat is tender) 9. Finally, add the chopped coriander bundle. Season to taste. 10. Make a sambal by throwing the cucumber and red onion into a blender and blending very, very briefly (to create small chopped pieces). 11. Then add the finely chopped banana and lemon juice to taste. 12. Serve the banana sambal as a side dish with the meat. Enjoy!
