Spekáčci in beer
Recipe from aunt Mirka from Třebechovice pod Orebem, sausages covered with black beer and baked together with vegetable leche.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Cut the individual buns lengthwise and fill with full fat mustard
2. Place sliced garlic cloves three at a time in each notch
3. Place the sausages on a pre-greased baking tray
4. Cover with a layer of lentils including the brine
5. Finally, add sliced onions 6. Pour the beer over everything and put it in a preheated oven for 45 minutes at a temperature of around 200 °C
7. After removing from the oven, serve immediately, preferably with fresh bread.
Recommendation:
You can also use frozen lentils, but you will need to mix them with 750 ml of ketchup after thawing.
