Sourdough printed buns with poppy seeds

ingredients

250 g semi-coarse flour 250 g plain flour (special 00) 200 ml whipping cream 2 pcs home-made eggs 100 g melted butter fresh 1 packet dried yeast (7g) 2 tsp granulated sugar 1 tsp salt

Filling

150 g ground poppy seeds thick plum jam

Finishing

melted butter to spread powdered sugar sprinkling butter-sugar sprinkles

A simple delicacy that is irresistible. Suitable for breakfast, brunch or a sweet dinner.

To lukewarm milk add 1PLsugar sprinkle yeast let the sourdough rise. Sift flour into a bowl add all dry ingredients, sourdough starter, eggs, melted butter, cream. Mix the dough with a mixer and put it in a warm place to rise for at least 50 minutes. Transfer the risen dough to a floured work surface using a large glass cut out rounds and place on a buttered baking sheet. Leave to rise for 15 minutes. Mix the poppy seeds and jam as desired. Then, using a smaller glass, press out the depressions in which to put the poppy seed filling, see photo below. Mix melted butter about 60 gr with granulated sugar, make a sprinkle with flour. Sprinkle, brush the sides with melted butter.

Preheat oven to 190 degrees bake for 20 minutes until golden. After baking, brush hot with melted butter, let cool.

After cooling, sprinkle with icing sugar. Enjoy!
