Wash the dried peas and put them in salted water to cook, when the peas are about half cooked add the chopped carrots, and garlic and let them cook. Then take out a few pieces of carrots for garnish, and blend the rest of the soup until smooth. Season with salt and pepper. Return the carrots to the soup and add the green peas and sliced sausage and let cook. Use a little parsley for garnish.
