400 g plain flour 170 g powdered sugar 50 g butter 2 pcs eggs 1 tbsp rum 3 tbsp honey 1 tbsp baking soda 1 tbsp gingerbread spice

There are many recipes for gingerbread cookies, I’ve been baking according to this one for years. No need to let them sit, they are soft.
1.
Raw ingredients, all should be room temperature.

Process the ingredients and let the dough rest for 1 hour.

Roll out the dough to 3 mm and cut out the figures.
4.
Brush the mould with fat and bake in a hot oven. Bake for about 10 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. C.
5.
While still hot, brush with egg.
6.
Baked and ready to decorate with egg white frosting.
