Snowy chocolate roulade with currant jam and whipped cream

Try a recipe that looks and tastes beautiful – a snowy chocolate roll with currant jam and whipped cream. Serve it chilled from the fridge and conjure up the best Christmas dessert for the whole family.

Ingredients:

Ingredients to make 1 roll: 70 g smooth flour 70 g of caster sugar 3 tbsp Dutch cocoa 5 pcs

td>eggs Ingredients for making the filling: 200 g mascarpone 4 tbsp Hamme Extra Currant Jam 1 cup 33% whipped cream 1 bag Vitana vanilla powdered sugar

Procedure:

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Whisk the egg whites until snow and the egg yolks and sugar in another bowl until foamy. Very carefully combine the egg yolks with the whites and gradually add the flour and cocoa.
  • Place the baking paper on a baking tray, spread the dough with a spatula and bake for about 15 minutes.
  • Spread the cooled pastry with Hamé Extra Currant jam.
  • For the filling, whip the stiff whipped cream and mix it with the mascarpone, add the sugar.
  • Spread the whipped cream over the jam and roll up the roll nicely. Let cool in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  • Sprinkle the hot roll with vanilla icing sugar and slice.
