Snails with Bacon and Mozzarella

Salty snails are a great accompaniment to wine. According to this recipe, they can be stuffed with, for example, English bacon, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, black olives and basil.

Ingredients:

For the dough: 250 g smooth flour 50 gyeast 150 ml lukewarm water 2 tbsp olive oil 1/2 tsp salt smooth roller flour For the filling: 150 g of English bacon 100 g of cherry tomatoes 100 g mozzarella 50 g black olives 2 tbsp olive oil crushed pepper basil salt

Procedure:

1. 1. Roll out the dough on a floured rolling pin into a rectangle or square, brush it with some of the olive oil and sprinkle it with finely chopped mozzarella, chopped basil, chopped olives, tomatoes, pepper and salt
3. Roll the dough tightly and cut it into rolls about 2 cm wide
5. Place the prepared snails on a baking sheet with baking paper and brush them with oil
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 °C until golden brown.
