Smažená veka

Plates of pork coated in beaten eggs, fried until golden brown, topped with mulled wine and raisins, baked in the oven.

Ingredients:

8 pcs of veka 2 pcs eggs 2 pcs of cinnamon sugar 6 tbsp oil 4 tbsp raisins 1.25 dl red wine a knob of butter

Procedure:

1. Wash raisins in cold water, dry them, pour red wine over them and let them swell for about 1 hour
2. Soak the slices in beaten eggs and fry them in hot oil on both sides until crispy
3. Butter a baking dish and line the bottom with the slices 4. Immediately after removing from the oven, dust with cinnamon sugar and serve warm.

Recommendation:

Instead of red wine, cherry, plum or apple juice can be used.
