In Bohemia is popular zelňačka, in Moravia kyselica. Zelňačka has a red colour after adding red paprika, kyselica is white, paprika is not added. There is also a difference between valaska and slovakian kyselica, slovakian kyselica must not lack beans. There are also many regional analogies of this excellent soup, which is also served as a Christmas soup.

1. Cook white beans and potatoes the day before, soak dried mushrooms (potatoes are cooked separately! cabbage is not cooked)
