Recipe preparation

1 Slice the sausages, cut the edges, salt, pepper, rub one side with mustard and roll them in flour – the classic way to prepare beef steaks. Place in hot oil and fry on both sides. Remove to a plate and add about 1/3 of the onion to the fat and let it fry until golden. 2 Then add the pieces of meat, cover with a little water and simmer, but not until tender. In a second pan, add a little oil, the rest of the chopped onions, the diced pork bacon or bacon fat and the diced cucumber. Season with salt and pepper. Let it cook for about 15 minutes. 3 When the meat is about 3/4 cooked, transfer it to the baking dish with the sauce and pour the mixture of onions, smoked pork bacon and cucumber over the meat to cover it.
