Silesian Poppy Dumplings

These are not poppy seed dumplings in the proper sense of the word. That’s what this Christmas dish is called in Silesia. It is served on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Boil a quart of milk, add sugar and rum
2. Pour over ground poppy seeds, stir in raisins and chopped almonds
3. Heat the milk and gradually pour it over the biscuits and layer the poppy seed mixture in a glass container
4. Finally, add a layer of poppy seeds
5. Put in the fridge to cool and then serve.
