Ingredients:
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup chopped onion
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1 (16 ounce) package frozen cooked shrimp, thawed and tails removed
Instructions:
In a large saucepan, combine the first eight ingredients. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Add the shrimp, and cook until heated through. Serve immediately.
You can also make this bisque ahead of time. Simply prepare the bisque through Step 1, then cool and refrigerate. When you’re ready to serve, reheat the bisque over low heat until warmed through, then add the shrimp and cook until heated through. Easy peasy!
This bisque is great on its own, but if you want to really impress your guests (or yourself), try serving it over some >homemade crostini . It’s easy to make, and takes this bisque to the next level
