Shaped Easter Pastry

Recipe from Horácko and Podhorácko. Different shapes of dough baked until golden brown.

Procedure:
1. In a larger bowl, mix the flour and salt, pour the lukewarm milk into the bottom of the bowl, add the fat, eggs, sugar and crumbled yeast, let the sourdough rise, which will take about 15 minutes
2. Work the dough until smooth, cover and leave to rise (the dough must double its volume)
3. Work the risen dough on a floured rolling pin, form different shapes, then place on a greased baking sheet
4. Brush the pastry with beaten egg and bake, in a preheated oven at 170-180 °C, until golden brown.
Recommendation:
The pastry can be sprinkled with poppy seeds.
