Semolina Dumplings with Maple

Ground semolina dumplings and other ingredients served topped with plum syrup.

Ingredients:

200 g semolina 30 g raisins 4 pcs of day-old jam (rolls) 2 pcs egg 0.5 l milk butter water plum curd a little lemon juice

Procedure:

1. Stir the semolina into the boiling, salted milk, cover with a lid and let stand for 15 minutes
2. Cut the bread rolls into cubes and fry them in butter until golden brown
3. Stir the fried buns into the semolina dough together with the eggs, then form a doughnut, place it in a dampened and wrung out clean cloth, tie it up (leave more slack, the dumpling will rise!)
4. Put the dumpling in the towel into boiling salted water and after 5 minutes lift it from the bottom, after another 10 minutes of boiling take out the dumpling, unwrap and cut into slices
5. Pour the hot klevela, diluted with water and lemon juice, over the dumpling portions and top with the cooked raisins
6. Finally, pour melted butter over the dish and serve immediately.
