Hey, cookie lovers! Today, I’m sharing my secret recipe for fudge stripe cookies. These babies are packed with chocolatey goodness and are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to butter mixture, mixing until just blended.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheet. Bake until cookies are firm and edges are slightly crisp, about 15 minutes. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes; transfer cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
You can store these cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week
