Scotch Potato Eggs

Recipe originally from the UK. Hard boiled eggs coated in potato batter. In the original recipe the eggs are coated in minced meat, egg white and then breadcrumbs.

Ingredients:

500 g of boiled potatoes 150 g of brick cheese 6 pcs hard boiled eggs 1 pcs cheese egg smooth flour breadcrumbs lard pepper salt

Procedure:

1. Peel the cooked potatoes and let them cool, then grate them
2. Add the grated cheese, pepper, salt to the potatoes and make a dough
3. Coat the boiled eggs in the potato dough, then in the classic triple coating, i.e. in flour, beaten egg and breadcrumbs
4. Fry slowly in lard, about 15 minutes, turning during frying so that the eggs are cooked through on all sides
