Sauce sabayone

This wine sauce is great as a side dish for baked desserts.

Ingredients:

100 g of powdered sugar 4 pcs eggs 0.2 l of sugar 0.1 L of marsala wine (Italian dessert wine)

Procedure:

1. Separate the yolks from the whites of the eggs
2. Put the yolks together with the sugar, marsala wine and sparkling wine in a bowl and whisk everything together in a water bath
3.

Recommendation:

The marsala wine can be replaced with another sweet dessert wine.

Note:

Water bath – Place the container with the dish in a pot half filled with hot water, keeping it just below boiling point.
