Šašlik

Rump or boneless chops cut into cubes, marinated and then grilled or fried in oil on skewers.

Ingredients:

Ingredients for 4 people: 500 g of ham hock (boneless chops) 200 g tomatoes 100 g of onion sprouts 40 g of butter 2 pcs onion 1/2 pcs citron (vinegar) 1/2 pcs citron (vinegar) ground pepper salt

Procedure:

1. Cut the meat into cubes, put it in a bowl, pepper it, add one finely chopped onion, lemon juice (vinegar), mix and let it sit in the refrigerator under the lid for about 2 hours
2. Then season the meat with salt, alternate with the sliced onion on a metal spit and slowly roast, turning frequently under the grill or in a pan in oil
3. Slide the baked shashlik onto plates, drizzle with melted butter and garnish with chopped onion, sliced tomatoes and lemon wedges.

Recommendation:

Side dishes: Cooked rice with vegetable salad.
