Salmon in creamy sauce recipe

Ingredients

for 4

600-700 g fresh salmon

200 ml coffee cream

180 g salmon cream cheese (any other cream cheese will do)

Salt

1 clove of garlic

1 teaspoon of herb mix – thyme, basil, parsley

spread with olive oil

Preparation instructions

Clean the fish and cut into four equal pieces.

Heat the pan, pour the olive oil into the pan, add the chopped garlic cloves and the fish.

Prepare the skin side first, then carefully turn the pieces over and remove the skin.

Stir the peel, pour over the fish and add the seasoning.

Reduce the heat and bring the cream to the boil.

Serve with Vegetable Recipes, pasta or rice.

Why should you eat fish?

Fish has a very important place in a healthy diet and we know about its benefits from time immemorial. Essential omega acids and fats are indispensable nutrients to supply the brain, and fish is also easier to digest than animal protein. A good example of the benefits of fish is the island nation of Japan. With 127 million people, they consume 90% of the world’s eel. The Japanese are also, on average, the oldest living people, renowned for their everlasting vitality. This can certainly be attributed to their awareness of dietary habits, with a strong emphasis on fish.

In families, dinner is often dictated by the children and their particular habits. Trying anything new is often controversial – often fish in particular can seem completely out of the question for children. However, it is possible to prepare fish in a way that will make everyone’s tongues wag, making it an absolute hit with the whole family, including the children.
