On my blog www.tasteisyours.com, I told you how important it is to eat fish. To keep you motivated to keep doing so, I’ve prepared another awesome recipe for you. This time it will be salmon with my 1 minute dill sauce. What? You don’t like dill? Then let me change your mind with some facts. Dill is one of the so-called “super foods”. It reduces depression, cholesterol and protects the body from free radicals. Still undefeated? Dill helps speed up digestion and its oils can be used as an insect repellent. Last but not least, dill helps reduce menstrual syndromes and cramps. Of course, this only applies if you’re a woman. In case you need some fish inspiration, be sure to try this recipe.
1. Finely chop the garlic and dill. Remove the seeds from the chilli and finely chop. Season the salmon with salt and pepper. 2. Heat a frying pan and add one tablespoon of butter, garlic and chilli. Bake until the garlic is soft. However, be careful not to burn the garlic or it will be bitter. Place the salmon in the pan and cook for 3 minutes on each side. 3. In a small bowl, whisk together the cream, mustard, lemon juice and chopped dill. Stir until smooth. This sauce tastes best chilled. 4. Serve the salmon on arugula, drizzled with the dill sauce.
