Poke Bowl is a simple dish that’s easy to make and tastes great – so this time, instead of the usual home-cooking, I decided to try making my own poke. The Poke Bowl with salmon and rice was chosen. As a starting point, I used a recipe that was circulating like wildfire on Tiktok, which is delicious and exceptionally easy to make. It’s great for a nutritious and quick lunch, as well as a light dinner.

The Poke Bowl recipe with salmon and rice was popularised by Emily Mariko, whose TikTok video proved popular on the platform, with many users making their own adaptations and new recipes based on her recipe.

What makes Poke Bowl with Salmon and Rice special is its versatility, as very different flavours blend with many food textures. The Salmon Poke Bowl is a great alternative to chicken or pork, with a delightful taste of the sea in every bite, complemented by home-crisped radishes. You can always spice up the soft flavours of the rice and salmon by adding soy sauce.

As the name suggests, the Poke Bowl is best eaten from a bowl – we recommend buying the beautiful and stylish bowls from Apelsin. They also have the right Poke Poke chopsticks to make your Poke Poke experience even more authentic.

To make one food bowl exceptionally flavoursome, add nori leaves to the bowl, place them on top of the dish and grab a rice between the sticks. All the ingredients are left to form a tiny bowl of nori, and all that’s left to do is enjoy. Enjoy!
