Saffron mousse recipe
This saffron mousse recipe is light, airy and absolutely delicious! Made with just a few simple ingredients, it’s perfect for special occasions or a quick and easy dessert.

Ingredients:
1/4 teaspoon saffron threads
1/4 cup boiling water
1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Place the saffron in a small bowl and add the boiling water. Let steep for 5 minutes.
Sprinkle the gelatin over the saffron mixture and let sit for 1 minute. Stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
In a large bowl, whisk together the cream, sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form. Gently fold in the saffron mixture until combined.
Divide the mousse evenly among four glasses or bowls. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
Serve chilled, topped with a dollop of whipped cream and a sprinkle of saffron threads
