Royal Chicken

Chicken for the King, that’s the original name of this recipe from the USA.

Ingredients:

1 piece of chicken 1 pc large onion 1 pc pepperoni

1 pc of yolk 250 g mushrooms 100 g of almonds 4 tbsp grated root Vegetable Recipes (carrots, parsley, celery) 5 cl sherry smooth flour milk butter salt

Procedure:

1. Cut chicken into quarters and place in a pot of boiling, lightly salted water, add grated root Vegetable Recipes, onion and cook until tender
2. Once the meat is soft, skim off part of the broth, prepare a roux of flour and butter, which you dilute with broth, mix until smooth and let it boil for 15 minutes
3. Pour the mushrooms and almonds into the prepared white sauce, season with chopped hot pepper and sherry in which we whisked the egg yolk
5. Simmer everything for another 5 minutes, pour the sauce over the chicken portions on plates and serve with rice.

Recommendation:

In some recipes, the chicken portions are skinless and cut into noodles. The dish is then served with the pieces of meat mixed in the sauce.
