Romanian Duck

Duck roasted until golden brown on a vegetable base with other ingredients.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Clean the duck thoroughly, cut into larger pieces, salt and sprinkle with cumin
2. Chop the peeled onion finely, cut the cleaned root Vegetable Recipes into smaller cubes, fry everything together in hot oil, pour in wine, add bay leaves, cloves, ground pepper, a pinch of thyme and heat briefly
3. Transfer the prepared vegetable base into a baking dish, place the carved duck on it, pour the broth over it, cover with the second baking dish and bake in a preheated oven for about 40 minutes, then remove the top baking dish and finish roasting the duck. Remove the finished portions of duck, thicken the vegetable base with dry-roasted flour, boil briefly, return the meat portions and reheat.
Recommendation:
A suitable side dish is mashed potatoes.
