Panini is an Italian term for a sandwich, baked in a contact grill, prepared with bread other than sliced bread. Panini is typically made from ciabatta, baguette or michetta, but we can also make panini from a classic bun or roll. It is not only suitable for breakfast or dinner, but also as a cold snack for work or school.
Ingredients:
Rule for 2 servings:
2 pieces

4 pcs
slices of ham
2 pcs
of cheese slices
chopped spring onions, or leeks, or herb leaves…
a piece of meaty pepper
spread butter
and you can’t do it without a contact grill!
Procedure:
Slice the rolls or buns in half, brush each part with spreadable butter.
Place the ham and cheese or other ingredients such as chopped herbs, spring onions or a piece of pepper on one half of the roll (bun) and cover with the other half of the bread.
Heat a contact grill, place the filled rolls or buns in the grill, cover and grill until the bread is golden and heated through so that the cheese begins to flow slightly.
Turn over and serve the roll panini immediately, still hot.
Recommendation:
A variety of light salads go well with panini. It is important to serve the panini warm, although it tastes good cold as well.
