Roasted Thymus Gland with Mushrooms and Bacon

Cooked thymus, fried in breadcrumbs in oil. (Sweden)

Ingredients:

600 g of brisket 200 g of mushrooms 20 g butter 4 pcs bacon slices 4 pcs of tomatoes 3 tbsp breadcrumbs 1 tbsp lemon juice

td>ground pepper fat for browning salt

Procedure:

1. Soak the bell peppers in cold water for a while, then place them in boiling salted water with lemon juice and cook until tender
2. Take it out, cool it down a bit and then put it back into the water with lemon juice
3. Cut the mushrooms in half, salt and pepper them and saute them in butter until tender
4. Fry the bacon slices under the grill or in a frying pan
5. Slice the bellies, coat them in breadcrumbs and fry on both sides in hot fat
6. When serving, garnish with mushrooms, bacon, tomato halves grilled.

Recommendation:

Side dishes: Buttered toast and vegetable salad.
