Roasted ribs po selsku
Porce of roasted meaty ribs topped with onion broth.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Cut the rinsed meaty ribs into individual portions with the bone
2. Place the sliced, peeled onions in a baking dish and fry them in the lard until golden brown
3. Sprinkle the sautéed onions with water and then place the salted ribs, sprinkled with grill spices and ground black pepper, on top
4. Add the rubbed garlic and season the meat slightly
5. During the baking process, baste the ribs with a little water as needed so that the onions do not burn and the fat does not turn bitter
7. When serving, pour the juice from the fat over the ribs, but do not strain it!
Recommendation:
As a side dish, serve fresh bread with horseradish and mustard, or bread dumplings, or boiled potatoes and white cabbage. Especially in the last century, mashed potatoes and pickles were also served with ribs.
