Porce of oven baked pork belly seasoned with garlic, pepper and salt, topped with broth and sauteed onions when serving.
Ingredients:
1500 g
of pork belly with bone
150 g
onions
50 g
of lard
30 g
garlic
15 g
salt
1.5 g
ground black pepper
water to infuse
Procedure:
Slice the rinsed, rib boneless pork belly into individual portions.
Place the sliced, peeled onion in a baking dish and fry it in the lard until golden brown.
Spray the fried onion with water and then place the salted, ground black pepper sprinkled pork belly on top of it, add the rubbed garlic.
Place the lidded baking dish in the oven and bake for about 120 minutes at a temperature of about 180 °C. During the baking process, baste the pork belly with a little water as needed, so that the onions do not burn and the fat does not turn bitter.
When serving, pour the meat with the juice from the fat, which is not strained.
