Roasted Beetroot with Mozzarella and Basil

Red beetroot patties baked in the oven, served topped with mozzarella and sprinkled with chopped basil.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Peel the beetroot, cut into 1 cm thick slices and place them on a baking tray greased with olive oil
2. Rub the Vegetable Recipes with the rubbed garlic, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt, sprinkle with chopped basil and bake in a preheated oven at 170-180 °C for about 1 hour until the beetroot is soft
3. Place the beet slices on a plate, garnish with slices of mozzarella, sprinkle again with chopped fresh basil, pepper and serve warm as a savoury starter or with bread as a light supper.
