Serve this recipe warm as a light dinner or snack with fresh bread.
Ingredients:
750 g
of beetroot (smaller tubers)
100 g
cheddar
4 pcs
garlic cloves
spring onions
olive oil
pepper
salt
Procedure:
Rinse the beetroot, wrap in foil and roast in a preheated oven at 170-180°C for about 1 hour.
Let the beets cool, unwrap from the foil, peel, cut into thicker slices.
Grease a baking dish with olive oil, layer the beet slices, add salt, pepper, grated garlic, chopped onion, sprinkle with grated cheese, make another layer, sprinkle the surface with cheese, onion and let bake until the cheese melts.
