Rice porridge baked with apples

Oven baked rice covered with milk, mixed with apples and sugar, served sprinkled with cinnamon.

Ingredients:

600 g apple 300 g rice 60 g butter 50 g of caster sugar 1 l of caster sugar milk icing sugar ground cinnamon pinch of salt water

Procedure:

  • Place the rice, rinsed with boiling water, in a baking dish, pour the milk over it, add a little salt and bake in an oven preheated to 160-170°C until the milk is absorbed into the rice.
  • While the rice is baking, stir in the caster sugar, smooth the surface and top with peeled, cored and sliced apples.
  • Divide the hot porridge onto plates, sprinkle the portions with icing sugar and cinnamon, drizzle with melted butter and serve.
