Rhubarb pie with nuts and honey

1 pinch salt 100 g Kryst Sugar 170 g mixed nuts to taste 1 packet puff pastry (275 g sheet) 600 g rhubarb 2 pcs egg 3 tbsp honey 80 g soft butter 82% vanilla extract

A very quick tart full of nuts and with the sour taste of rhubarb.

Beat the eggs until frothy(a little..set aside 2pl for the top of the cake). Mix the ground nuts with vanilla extract, butter, salt and mix thoroughly.

Place a sheet of puff pastry on a baking tray, with baking paper on the bottom. Beat the eggs and mix the nut filling together. Spread the filling over the pastry, leaving about an inch from the edge.

Clean the rhubarb. Place these close together on top of the filling. Fold the edges of the pie to prevent the filling from oozing out during baking.

Before baking, brush the pie with the beaten eggs and sprinkle with 2pl sugar.

Bake for about 30 min at 200 deg C.

After baking, sprinkle the cake with icing sugar and slice. Enjoy!
