Red rice, like about 20 other varieties, is grown in France. It is rich in vitamin E, which is known as the beauty vitamin. Yes, it is excellent for skin, hair, nails. Dry fry red rice in onion base. Add chopped mushrooms and salt and cover with water. Stir and simmer the rice for about 15 – 20 minutes similar to tarhoona. It is also a great combination with tofu and broccoli, or eggplant, carrots.
